The Secretary of State’s Voter File application allows you to purchase customized files of registered voters from the statewide-centralized voter file using a credit or debit card.
Begin the service by clicking the button to login to Okta or create a new account.
After Logging into Okta click ‘Purchase Now’ button on the main page.
You will then be able to select the type of file that you would like to purchase. The next screen will display the file that you are purchasing and the cost.
If you are a subscriber, click on ‘Continue’ and your registered user account will be charged. If you are not a subscriber, click on ‘Continue’ to proceed to the payment page.
Complete the required information then press ‘Continue’. Your transaction is complete. A receipt page is now displayed. Please print a copy of the receipt for your records.
Click Done and you will be redirected to a purchase summary page.
Your files are now being created. Some files are large and can take sometime to finish.
Please be patient. Do not close the window.
You will receive an email with a link directly to your file. It will be stored for 2 weeks at
Montana File Transfer Service before being deleted.
